Is MMM Philippines A Scam?

Of course not.  In fact, it is the most generous investment program you may ever hear of.  It may seem like an investment program but not really.  It is more like a Donation Exchange program. It is a place where you donate and yet your money grows.  Imagine 30% growth of your donated amount each and every month.  Compounding.  For example, you provide PhP1000.  That means it will grow for PhP300 monthly.  When you withdraw or get help on the 30th day.  You take home PhP1300.

It is basically like this:

MonthAmountEarnings Jan1,000.00 PHP0.00 PHPFeb1,300.00 PHPPhp300.00Mar1,690.00 PHPPhp690.00Apr2,197.00 PHPPhp1,197.00May2,856.10 PHPPhp1,856.10Jun3,712.93 PHPPhp2,712.93Jul4,826.81 PHPPhp3,826.81Aug6,274.85 PHPPhp5,274.85Sep8,157.31 PHPPhp7,157.31Oct10,604.50 PHPPhp9,604.50Nov13,785.85 PHPPhp12,785.85Dec17,921.60 PHPPhp16,921.60
This is for P1000, imagine the results if it is 3K, 5, or 10K.

Also, there is a 10% referral bonus (although you are not really required to refer).  Well, those are just some of the highlights of this controversial organization.  But just because of all those, does that mean that MMM isn't a scam?  Let us put MMM in a scam test and see where it is at.

First let's define a scam.  As per Google Search,

                                                  scam

skam/
noun

informal

1.a dishonest scheme; a fraud.

Here's how to deal with a potential scam.  Let's see if MMM will pass the test.

If the money you earn is based on your sales to the public, the company may be a legitimate multilevel marketing plan. Here are some signs that the company is operating a pyramid scheme:

1. Your income is based mainly on the number of people you recruit, and the money those new recruits pay to join the company — not on the sales of products to consumers

2. You’re required to buy lots of inventory

3. You’re forced to buy other things you don’t want or need just to stay in good standing with the company
